About the project

 

I began Somebody's Story as a way to tell other people's stories through my songs. It started with a YouTube video asking people to send me their true stories, and ended with my third EP - a collection of four songs, each based on a different story.

 

The stories I was sent are incredible, moving, wonderful glimpses of people's lives across different continents and decades and are so much more powerful than I ever expected when the project began.
